Emre Abut researches as an artist and curator through (moving) images, installations and performative interventions, exploring how contemporary subjectivities emerge and agency is shaped. His current focus is on creating transdisciplinary and participatory programs. By combining art education and curatorial practice, he addresses socially relevant issues and seeks to make art institutions more accessible. He is dedicated to developing inclusive formats that incorporate underrepresented perspectives and encourage meaningful dialogue between art institutions and communities. Emre had the privilege of studying fine arts at art academies in Essen, Istanbul, Vienna and Berlin.
